Yes, it was early October and 20plus degrees in Sheffield We promised Aunty Batty (my pet name for her - she always said that she would smack my bottom for that!) a BBQ and a BBQ she was going to get. So, we arrived, Aunty Batty already dressed up and ready to party in the garden....we had on our summer frocks (and trousers for the boys) - Batty, me, John, Nina & Jeff (and Paddy the dog and a couple of cats) - music on, dancing in the garden (well, I was dancing and Batty was choregraphing)....wine and J20s and beers galore and nice spicey food for Batty.... We had a lovely afternoon - then Batty's carriage arrived at 6.30 to take her back into the house. Batty had such fun and a nice loooooong sleep afterwards. A lovely memory. Sandra xx
